The goal of most every kicker and punter is to get recruited by a major college and receive a full scholarship. Reality is many kickers and punters will be recruited to play college football but they all won't receive full scholarships right away. Many kickers and punters who have played in the NFL had to earn their scholarships after being a recruited walk on or regular walk on for a couple of years. Like other kicking services across the United States, Premier Kicking offers to help you in the recruitment process. We will make as many phone contacts, email contacts, and send as many personal letters along with your high light film to as many Division 1, IAA, II, III, and NAIA schools as you would like us to. We cannot promise you a scholarship but we promise to work as hard as we can to get you noticed.

Premier Kicking is focused on training and developing. Our summer camps are training focused yet we do have a combine like competition on the last day (and yes we will inform college coaches of your performance at camp if you wish), as well as Scout.com, Rivals.com, and LRS Sports. The purpose of this competition is to give you some competition while at the same time prepare you for any combines you wish to attend.

Premier Kicking has a great working relationship with LRS Sports Recruiting Specialist Dwight Thomas and this helps give our clients nationwide exposure. All kickers and punters who train with Premier Kicking or attend our camps and have the ability and desire to play college football will be referred by Coach Feuerbach to Dwight Thomas. Dwight Thomas is a nationally recognized recruiting expert. Coach Thomas has operated combines and provided recruiting information to football programs throughout the US for more than 10 years. During his 30-year coaching career, he won multiple state championships, was elected Florida Coach of the Year, was inducted into the FACA Hall of Fame, and, as head coach at Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida, coached NFL career rushing leader Emmitt Smith.

The highlight film is a very important tool in the recruitment process. This helps college coaches evaluate your ability to see what type of kicker or punter you are. Premier Kicking highly recommends you use iPlayers.net when it comes to hosting your highlight film and stats on the web.

Created by former University of Virginia and NFL kicker Michael Husted, iPlayers.net is an online platform where student athletes can post video enabling coaches to view them anytime, anywhere, frame-by-frame with perfect clarity. IPlayers enables you to have your own player profile on the web where along with posting your stats, awards, etc., you can upload video clips in just minutes. You can then send this link to college coaches all over the United States. Along with sending film through the mail (or instead of), we can just send an email to coaches letting them know who you are along with the link to your account (click on Scott Blair on kicker/punter page).

One recruiting tool that is being used today is kicking combines. Coaches tell you they will send your information from the combine to colleges all over the United States and they will also rate you and tell college coaches about your performance. Attending a combine is up to you.

Premier Kicking is proud to be a partner of the Kicking.com Combine Series, and hosted the regional event in Atlanta in June of 2007. Kicking.com has partnered with iPlayers.net to offer a national kicking competition. It was created by NFL kickers, Michael Husted and Doug Brien. The series is a schedule of Regional and National competitions that pit the best kickers, punters, and long snapers against one another with the best players advancing (there is a Freshman, Sophomore/JV, Varsity, and College level).
